Featuring warrior-fairy dancers, military drummers with glow sticks, a Godzilla soldier armed with a unicorn gun, and a whole lot of invisible guitars, this wildly irreverent musical tribute celebrates the life of Portland performer Kara “Picante” Muir, who died of cancer at age 53.

You’ll also meet the filmmakers behind Sparkle On, the feature documentary inspired by The Sparkle Celebration. This special screening is a benefit for Sparkle On, with proceeds helping bring Kara’s story to the big screen.
